- Restoring the plant performance, especially return it to the nominal production capacity.
- Increasing the production capacity from its nominal, when applicable (depends on the initial design parameter).
- Increasing the plant reliability to be able to operate in 24 hours per day and 365 day per year.
- To determine maintenance program on daily, weekly, monthly, semester or yearly basis for instruments in the plant.
